Dental emergencies can take many forms – dental injuries, toothaches, swellings, and many more. For information on what to do when you have injured your teeth or one has fallen out, see our page on dental injuries.

Toothaches and swellings

Pain from your teeth can be caused by many things. Generally speaking, pain may come from the nerve inside the tooth, or nerves inside the gums and bone. Pain or sensitivity can be related to many dental conditions. Gum disease, receding gums, chipped, cracked, or decayed teeth, and infections in the gums or teeth can all cause pain or sensitivity. Occasionally after fillings, cleans, crowns or other procedures your teeth can be sensitive. Your dentist will advise you if treatment you are undertaking may result  in sensitivity and will suggest options for minimising the discomfort.

New patients receive their first examination and clean and xray if required for the low price of $139.00
